flying leap

Flying Leap is an invitation to put yourself out there.  I love encouraging people to flourish in their creativity whatever the medium --but dance is my special sauce where I get people to cut loose and express.  My goal is to provide dance classes and dance events for adults who aren't professional dancers, or haven't danced in a long time, or want to start dancing for the first time-- where they can come and not feel intimidated, where their efforts are encouraged but also challenged, so it's not boring or lame.  My offerings provide smart and creative dance experiences for adults who like to learn and improve no matter their age.  It's abut your body, but also about your brain and your creativity.  This is what I LOVE and invite you to be part of.

Currently there are 3 offerings: 

OG LUIGI - Classic Jazz Technique:  a warm-up and set of exercises that build strength and placement followed by choreographed dances that emphasize style, expressiveness and musicality.  There is an All Level class for those who want to build a sold base to increase their dance ability, and an Int/Adv class for those who want to keep their technique and bodies strong.

ACT LIKE U CAN DANCE:  a super fun musical theatre dance class especially for adult singers and dancers whether they've moved their whole lives or are just starting out.  We work like you would in a rehearsal with staging, directions and partner and group work.  Each class you perform choreography in several different characters and styles so you are well prepared for auditions and working in a show.   Next Session coming soon.  Sign up for emails to be notified.  

PARTYOGRAPHY:  learn and dance a production number with your friends in this 3 hour crazy fun event. The package includes your choice of one of the curated themes, costumes or props, a warm up, rehearsal and direction, performance, celebration (alcohol dependent on venue)  and a fun video to remember the dancing and laughs.
